THE ESSENTIALS
  • The 25% figure applies only to the validation scope.

What changed

ZTE and XLSMART reported validation of a Network Optimization Agent in selected live-network wireless-coverage scenarios. Presented at ZTE’s Kuala Lumpur summit, the work connects analysis, strategy generation and execution. ZTE reports an automated closure rate of 25% within the validated scope and says the process reduced manual work.

Why it matters

For network operations teams, connecting recommendations to execution is a practical step toward automation. The limited scope matters: a result for selected optimization tasks offers evidence about those workflows, without establishing autonomous operation across a whole network.

What remains unproven

The release does not disclose the sample size, testing duration or a detailed definition of the closure metric. It also provides no independent assessment. Further validation and broader deployment remain future work, so the percentage should not be generalized.
