- Resource award supports up to 100 students.
What changed
Tiffin University says its classroom project has been approved through the National Artificial Intelligence Research Resource Pilot. The award provides CloudBank Classroom and Vocareum AI Notebook access for up to 100 students. It supports teaching across AI, programming and data analysis, including the university's undergraduate and graduate programs.
Why it matters
Shared cloud notebooks could reduce the amount of classroom time spent resolving differences between students' computers. Access to a common environment may also make exercises easier to reproduce, letting instructors focus more closely on the reasoning and data behind a student's work.
What remains unproven
This is an in-kind resource award, not a cash grant. Tiffin estimates its replacement value above $50,000, but reports no completed learning-outcome evaluation or evidence that all available student places have been used.
