What changed
Milliman MedInsight has released its MedInsight Knowledge Engine, or MIKE, in MedInsight Health Cloud. The AI assistant draws on the company's documentation, methodology and guidance. The same announcement describes natural-language data querying and wider use of Databricks Genie through its Innovation Portal as planned capabilities, separating them from the available knowledge assistant.
Why it matters
For analytics staff, finding the relevant methodological explanation inside an existing workflow could reduce time spent navigating product material. It could also make it easier to check how an answer relates to the platform's documented approach.
What remains unproven
The release supplies no measured answer-accuracy or time-saving results. Grounding responses in company material does not guarantee faithful interpretation. Future query and dashboard features should not be treated as capabilities already delivered by MIKE.
