- Jobs can map to cost centres.
- High availability remains future groundwork.
What changed
Broadcom announced general availability of Automation Analytics & Intelligence v26 on September 14. Administrators can associate job executions with cost centres for internal cost reporting. The release also adds conversational querying of operational data and official container images supporting Kubernetes and OpenShift. Broadcom describes the container setup as a single instance.
Why it matters
Connecting automation jobs to departmental costs could give operations teams a more concrete basis for discussing shared spending. Its usefulness will depend on the allocation rules and underlying data: a report can make assumptions visible, but cannot by itself establish whether a workload is worth its cost.
What remains unproven
The announcement provides no independent validation of cost accuracy or installation savings. Container support lays groundwork for future high availability; it does not establish that architecture as delivered in this release.
