THE ESSENTIALS
  • Recovery included clearing queued items.

What changed

Kaseya reported on September 14 that Autotask's inbound email parser was failing to create database items in DE1 and EU1. A fix entered monitoring at 06:40 EDT, but a later update said accumulated messages were still being processed. At 07:57 EDT, Kaseya said the queue had cleared and real-time item creation had resumed.

Why it matters

For service desks using email to initiate work, parser recovery alone would not establish that delayed requests had reached their records. The explicit backlog update gives operators a more useful recovery milestone than a simple statement that a fix was deployed.

What remains unproven

The notice does not quantify delayed items or identify a root cause. EU1 serves English-language Europe and Asia; the report does not enumerate affected customer locations.
