THE ESSENTIALS
  • Cliq support covers Neat Generation 2 devices.

What changed

Neat announced that Zoho Cliq is joining its Open Apps ecosystem and runs on its Generation 2 devices. The company describes meeting starts from the device, combined meeting and room booking, participant controls and an integrated waiting room. IT teams can manage the rooms through Neat Pulse alongside other Neat deployments.

Why it matters

For organizations already using Cliq, this creates another route to bringing their collaboration software into shared rooms. Using familiar meeting workflows could reduce setup friction, while common management may simplify oversight for teams operating several rooms.

What remains unproven

The announcement is not an independent assessment of meeting quality or management reliability. It does not provide comparative results or a complete licensing breakdown, so the deployment cost and experience require further evaluation.
