THE ESSENTIALS
  • Agents can be added to existing vacancies.

What changed

Workable says its Job Brief, Sourcing, Screening and Engagement agents are generally available to paid accounts worldwide. Its announcement describes a paid add-on with usage credits, plus support for attaching agents to jobs already underway. Recruiters can revise candidate criteria and apply changes to recently processed applicants.

Why it matters

For hiring teams, extending an existing vacancy could make evaluation easier than rebuilding a pipeline. Usage reporting also gives managers a way to compare automation costs across jobs. These are practical purchasing considerations, rather than evidence that automated rankings improve hiring.

What remains unproven

The vendor's customer examples do not establish consistent selection quality or fairness. Recruiters retain final hiring decisions; teams still need to evaluate screening errors and candidate interactions in their own roles.
