About TLB

Global technology.
Caribbean roots.

Tech Little Brawta is an independent publication about home labs, infrastructure, cybersecurity, open source, and learning by building.

Useful work,
clearly documented

“Brawta” is a Jamaican word for a little extra—something added as a bonus. The name reflects the publication’s Caribbean roots and its aim: give readers more practical value than they expected.

The guides come from real lab work across networking, Linux, virtualisation, security tooling, automation, and open-source software. Each one is written to explain the decisions, safeguards, and verification steps—not just the commands.

Caribbean technology has a dedicated section for regional developments across all of the site’s topic areas. The public GitHub lab holds supporting automation and project documentation that readers can inspect and adapt.

Tech Little Brawta was founded by Demar Anderson, a cybersecurity engineering and IT operations leader with more than 20 years of experience.
